How can theatre strengthen young people’s presentation, communication and critical thinking? Over the years, AFTEC has provided students with good stories filled with deep feelings and great questions that resonate with young people, created by local and international playwrights under the Young Theatre Makers scheme. During the in-school and joint-school training, we focus on the process for students to analyse the scripts, connect to their own experiences, reflect and discuss the themes of the plays.

Ablaze with lively showcase performances and meaningful conversations on coming of age issues and real-life struggles, come and discover how much theatre can help us understand life.
